Worldwide website redesign

In the fall of 2018 I’ve joined BERSHKA to redesign their worldwide website.

I was in charge of the product discovery journey of the customer, from the homepage to the product detail, via the navigation menu and the listing pages.

The Bershka Experience

On November 2018 Bershka opened a new concept store 
in Italy, with the goal of revolutionising the in-store experience.

There are two ways to experience 
the store: as a traditional Bershka store, or through the innovative Bershka Experience app that customers would use to scan items, send them to a reserved fitting room and pay without having to queue.

Design an app for a new shopping experience

I’ve led the design of the experimental app in close collaboration with the technical team and store designers. 


The challenge was to create a supportive app to be used while strolling the store, that could provide a new depth in the shopping experience.

Combining the best from both world

By scanning a garment and interacting with the app, 
the user could combine the physical 
and sensorial experience of a traditional store with a digital and e-commerce-like dynamic.

Just like Snapchat

The app is meant for young customers - who already go around the store with their phone in hand - and the camera view is always ready to scan a product, dig deeper in the look and get inspired.

No more clothes to carry around

With a size requested, a fitting room is assigned with the clothing awaiting. Inside the changing room an iPad allows the cart to be edited, to be purchased in-store or online to be delivered at their home.
